Ordering Information GRAVE MATTERS INTRODUCTION: We sell new, used and out of print mystery and detective fiction, mystery reference materials and back issues of mystery magazines. Our stock of more than 20,000 volumes includes our specialties of mystery reference materials, signed first editions, Sherlockiana, Vintage Paperbacks and both paperback and hardback reading copies. ORDERING BOOKS: Please place your order through our secure web site mechanism. Because we travel extensively to buy books for you and to attend mystery events, we are often not at home. We take our laptop with us on the road and will acknowledge your order from wherever we are. If we haven't acknowledged your order within 48 hours, we have not received it and you need to submit it again. If you have problems using the mechanism, please email us for further instructions. Those months that we print and mail a catalog as well as placing it on our site, we have a First Day ordering system. All orders from any source received through the date of the catalog are processed together. Competing claims for the same item are settled by chance. Later orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. New book prices are subject to change without notice. USING THE ONLINE SHOPPING CART: It's easy to order books and magazines online with the Shopping Cart. Simply search our catalog or browse our book lists, check the boxes next to the titles you wish to purchase, and click on the Order items button at the bottom of the page to add them to your cart. The shopping cart will "remember" the items you have ordered, even if you perform many different searches before checking out. We have a secure server for your credit card number which you must include to complete your order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover/Novus. You may pay by check, money order or credit card if you print the order and mail it with your payment. There is no need to email us concerning mailed orders. PRIVACY STATEMENT: Grave Matters does not give or sell any of your private information to anyone. DISCOUNTS: (3 or more items) 10% on orders of $50.00 or more as filled, 15% on orders of $150.00 or more as filled. All items are subject to prior sale. Sales tax of 6.5% will be charged on all orders destined for Ohio. CATALOGS: We print frequent catalogs containing a selection of our total stock. These include a variety of new and used mysteries for almost every taste and pocketbook. In addition to our combination (print and online) catalogs, we also post additional online catalogs and sale catalogs. RETURNS: All book returns are for store credit with advance approval only. Books must be in the condition in which they were sent. In addition, new book returns will be charged a 30% return fee (minimum $2.50). SHIPPING RATES: International orders must be paid for by Mastercard, Visa, American Express, or Discover/Novus only. Grave Matters can accept no responsibility for international orders. CONDITION AND GRADING: Ungraded books may be any edition including book club and ex-library in good or better condition. Collectible editions are stated and graded and are first printings of the stated edition unless noted otherwise. First Editions have no remainder or library marks unless noted.
